Even though I did not know Mr Tonningsen,I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his family. Acts 24 : 15, Psalms 37 : 29, Isaiah 25 verse 8 gives us more comfort for today and hope for the future. Just think how much God wants us to live forever and how much he loves us and how we will see our loved one's again.

Ed touched the lives of literally thousands of students.  I knew him and his incredible wife Barbara during their service in special education in the Diablo Valley of northern California.  They both provided insightful guidance and invaluable direction to instructional staff and the students.  Ed was such a kind, thoughtful and gentle soul.  He was an inspiration to all who knew him.
