I am so sorry for your loss. We look forward to a time when pain, suffering and sorrow are no more. Revelation 21:3-5. In the meantime, I hope you are able to draw comfort from the loving words found at 1Peter 5:7. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah will certainly bring us a measure of comfort.   My sincere condolences.

I hope you will find some measure of comfort from the promise found at Revelation 21:3, 4  which reads in part that "death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore........ .”
