Dot Horgan was quite the legend among her colleagues' in the Merrimack Area. Dot was rooted in her Faith, devotion, choir and St. William Parish. Her love for God and Music certainly went hand in hand. At 85 years old Dot retired at St. William's. This was a difficult decision for her to make. Music was her soul. Dot always talked about her wonderful children and grandchildren.
We will Miss Dot and her knowledge of Liturgy at St. William's. She was well loved amongst her choir and congregation. I myself worked with Dot for many years. You could put any type of music in front of her and she could play like the piano man! We had a great relationship and were like a family member. Dot a job well done!. You are now with the Lord and your wonderful Husband.
Robert and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the huge loss for your family! The very first time I met MRS HORGAN and her family when I was I was just in my late teens! Robert has invited me to Midnight mass on Christmas Eve, never telling me he had so many siblings! all the children introduced themselves laughing at my shock at how big this family was. There was a name test after church, LOL Mrs Horgan was the sweetest woman always with a smile and very inviting..It was a honor to have known her and her wonderful family..Cindi (Cook) Souza
