I always felt fortunate to have lived near the Raney’s and the store, Donny was the one who seemed to be everywhere,he was always cracking me up with his positive, jovial way, and always laughed and smiled, no matter what,
It was easy for him to be helpful because that was his nature. Rest In Peace,Don and until our paths cross again Much love and prayers for the entire Raney Family.
I do have one fun memory was when he actually stocked up some old rotten vegetables and fruit for our class of 77’ when we had our senior fights down at the bluff and in West Anchorage which actually ended up spilling onto the Valley of the Moon Park and so I always appreciated the fact that he supplied us with ammo and he was just cackling,& laughing the whole time he thought it was great
Don’t worry Mrs. Raney, it was only a huge food fight, no weapons were ever used!
