I only knew Sompie in his latter years, but so enjoyed his good nature, good humor, warm and friendly way. I also admired his devotion to Evelyn and every family member. What a loving and generous heart! My life is diminished by his passing, and my heart goes out to all you Elliotts, whose love for your father was--IS--so profound and genuine. I will be ever eager to hear your memories!
