I worked with Don at NBA from my hire in May, 1972 until his retirement.  Don was a brilliant businessman and banker and one of my mentors during my career at NBA and Wells Fargo (Don maintained his office at our headquarters post-retirement) so I had many long visits him even after he retired from NBA.  Susan was always the "hostess with the mostest".  Both delightful people!  Mike McCorm

Life after banking., Don and I both loved to fly fish and after we retired we did several remote float trips. During  nights in the tent we talked and i discovered what a honest and sincere man Don was and how close he and Susan were.  There is a special place in my heart for them,

Susan was always so nice to me, especially when I arrived in Anchorage 55 years ago.  Whenever we met over the years, she always had a hug and kind words.  Don and Susan were just genuine people, never touting their positions in life and business.  How refreshing to have had such great examples in our lives.  I will always have wonderful memories of them.  Linda Slone

Thank you for having the Memorial, It gave Ed and I an opportunity to have closure to a very fine couple that influenced both our lives for the better. Having time to share stories and to spent together and laugh was wonderful. Thank you Gabby and the 'grands' for arranging this memory for all of us. Don and Susan will always remain in our hearts!
