Unbelievable person in so many ways.  I especially had fun working with you in the gardens.  I will miss and love you forever Deborah.  I’m speechless and wish you were still with us.

I always loved spending time with Debra. She had a way of making me feel special and she was always interested in what was going on in my life and had insightful advice. I will miss her smile, generosity, love and friendship. The world is a better place because she was in it and I know her love and kindness will be carried on through her family and friends.

Debra you left us too soon but with so many memories of how you lit up with a laugh, the way you could be so comfortable with everyone, inclusive and caring, inviting and open. You were gracious and giving of your time and self to others. For many years you organized our trips to the Muir Trail Ranch so it would flow smoothly for all of us. I honor your kind and loving spirit.

Debra, you were such a good friend, mentor and protector to so many people, and your love of the outdoors was infectious. Thank you for that legacy, and thank you for sharing your wonderful spirit with us, for what turned out to be too brief a time.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our wonderful neighbor, Debra.  As neighbors we would have chats on the driveway or maybe just a wave and a smile. Debra was always such a warm person and we appreciated the chats.  I will miss her in the “neighborhood” We send our deepest condolences to all her beloved family and dear friends.

I so enjoyed your company and conversation, Debra, at many Land Trust dinners and get-togethers over the years. Your eyes and insights were always so vibrant and human and kind. It was a pleasure to connect about kids and community and learning, and the great outdoors. Thank you for sharing yourself with us.

Rand and I have so many fond memories of spending time in nature with Debra on long bike rides, hikes in the woods and our time together at the Muir Trail Ranch.  We loved all of our late night laughs and interesting conversations over dinners that often stretched into the midnight hours.  Debra always made our time together special and we miss her greatly.

We wish we had spent more time with Debra - always seemed like there would be time in the future.  We’re glad that we did get to know her, and we will keep her memory close when we are out in nature.  We will take inspiration from her energy, adventurous spirit, and appreciation for the outdoors.   A life well lived, and much missed.

We share in the major sense of loss with Debra's untimely passing. From the time we first met Debra nearly 10 years ago at our first meeting of the Advisory Board of The Trust for Public Land, she was always welcoming, warm and helpful and extended a special feeling to all who came in contact with her.  We will miss her greatly but rejoice in the happy memories she provided.
