Dean was my next door neighbor for 20 years while he took care of his mom. I always loved talking stories with him and doing yard sales. He is a kind man with a infectious laugh. I was sad when he moved away but he did move back into the hood last year. When walking my dog I was happy to see him outside working on things for his home and getting to say hi and chat again.
Well,.. what can I say about Dean. I can say that I'm pissed off at you for sneaking off like this, you asshole! But then I can turn around and say I still love you because you just can't stay mad at you for anything! I never could! That's the type of man you were. A good man. A GREAT man! I love you, Dean! You will be missed!
Having a friendship for more than 40 years with a man like Dean, can only make you a good person yourself. It's no wonder I get called a "kind woman" a lot. It's because it's rubbed off of Dean onto me and I'll forever be grateful for that. I've learned to "be like Dean" without even realizing I'm doing it. Thank you, Dean, for making me a better person. I miss you!
