My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Daniel Alcala.  He was a dear man, and well-loved by all who knew him.  He will be missed.  To perhaps share some hope, please know that our Creator is not indifferent to the suffering we feel.  He will soon bring a complete solution.  You can read this, in your Bible, at Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:3,4.  I am sorry for your loss.
