I just heard that Dan had passed away. I worked with him in the recent past and always enjoyed our talks on the phone. They would start with the business at hand and always ended up talking about his beloved Giants and my beleagured A's. And his wife and daughter going on their safari trip...he had a great time "mapping" that out for them. Dan will be missed! Gina Burns
