I met Dan about 9 years ago kite surfing.  I will never forget his amazing smile and care free spirit.  One of the best memories was when just the two of us went kite surfing for miles along the shore of South Padre Island.  We would stop every once and a while and rest, talk about life and how amazing the day was.  I will miss my friend and his laugh that always filled the room.
