My beautiful darling son. May you rest in peace and may your soul be borne aloft.
Danny Boy, you made me laugh just all the goddam time. And now you’re making me cry all the goddam time. But for now and maybe for a long time ahead, the laughs will still outnumber the cries. Xxxxxxx
Sadly I live on the wrong continent so only spent a little time with Danny but I know his humour and energy lit up other people's lives and he will be terribly missed. When he came to London we had a lot of fun and he was great company to my kids.
Danny, you were sweet and cynical, goofy and brilliant. We will miss your bright spark — and your occasional snark. Rest easy.
Danny was lively, brilliant, precocious, hilarious. Always entertaining us in innovative and zany ways. It was a joy to witness his sweet, close relationship with Lucy, and his love and companionship with Joe. You brought us so much joy and laughter and will always be part of our best family stories. We love you Dan and will always miss you. Xxxxx Rachel, Ben and Austin (Durham, UK)
Dear Danny, Your beautiful and benevolent energy was such a quietly shining thing. I love that you wanted to name Rosie after me. I can’t wrap my head around the beauty of your prose and the fact you are no longer here to spend future nutty solar returns with in your faintly amused, but accepting, way! I wish I could have known you longer. Love from Tessa
Danny, for the month I lived with you + beyond, you were always up for a challenge, an adventure, a story, a laugh. Your wit and deep intellect far surpassed mine, and I found every chat with you riveting and rhythmic—like a dance you'd known since birth. I had a big, gummy-bear-squishy soft spot for you and your irresistible grin. I loved you like you were my own brother. I'll miss you.
Danny was bright, funny, talented, articulate, and a great pleasure to meet. He was just what you’d expect from knowing his amazing mom.
Danny was a great friend. He was a funny, happy young teen, and he’ll always have a place in my heart. May he forever Rest In Peace.
Danny,
Although I only knew you for a short time, this news hits me hard. In boarding school with you you were always so caring and fun to be around. Whether you were cracking jokes or just hanging out, everyone wanted to be around you.
you will be missed and not forgotten.
Danny, I remember when you hurt both hands playing soccer and the site of that made me both ache and laugh on your behalf. You still were pleasant and smart and patient despite all of the snarky questions I lobbed your way. I hope you always were aware of how your Mom loves you with all of her marrow. Xx, Jen Towers
Danny, We never got to see each other after treatment man but the time I knew you and the time I spent with you as a roommate I will never forget and impacted my life more than you could ever know... To know that this world will be missing your presence is absolutely devastating. I wish we would have been able to do all the things we talked about, I love you man Rest In Peace
Danny, I wish we’d lived in the same country and had more time to hang out. When I last spent time with you, I was struck by what a deep, gentle soul you were - so much care and reflection. You were very loved.
Danny. You will be so sorely missed. I’m sad that we will not hear of all the adventures you would have had and all the people you would have delighted. I can only promise, you will be remembered. Be at peace.
I enjoyed our decade long conversation, the long meals, the laugher and fun. You were always brilliant, charming, cool and very easy to love.
Danny was a shining light. A brilliant intelligence that is painfully missed. His bravery, incredible writing, ingenious wit and his love, they all remain. Shining on.
Danny, you were so loved. And you inspired so much happiness, laughter and awe at your boundless energy, wit and creativity. The world is a better and a brighter place for having had Danny in it and you will always live - vibrantly and fully - in so many of our hearts. All my love to you, Joe, and your parents. Xxx

Danny I have yet to wrap my mind around what has happened. I saw you only 1 week before your passing, only wish I could have known. None the less in the time I knew you, you were one of my closest friends. In a general sense you were one of the nost unique people i have ever met. I will treasure every memory until my parting day. May you rest in peace brother.
Danny,
You were such an empathetic, loving, funny person. I miss sitting in Central Park with you dreaming about what life would be like when we grew up. When it rained, you gave me your coat. I will never forget your tenderness and your willingness to try, all the way till the end. I miss you.
