Clara was affectionately known as Clara Belle to everyone who knew her.  She was a Veteran's Veteran  serving in the US Air Force and continuing her government career assisting active duty military members through the Morale, Welfare and  Recreation Department at Elmendorf AFB, then onto the Alaska VA Radiology Section. Clara cherished her daughter, Portia and was so very proud of her!
