I will always remember Chris as the type of person who gave back to his family, friends and community.  And, he did so with a smile on his face and ongoing enthusiasm.  I am greatly saddened by this loss and hope that his memory will inspire people to take his lead to give back.  I wish everyone in his family strength in these sad times and offer any help we can give.  Wendy Pope

I worked side-by-side with Chris in Cub Scouts and Little League for many years, and I respected and admired him immensely.  Chris was a true friend and a leader.  I learned so much from him.  It is with a heavy heart that I say good-bye to him.  I will miss him, as will the community at large.  He touched so many lives around him from young kids to other adults, family, and friends.
