This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Christine Amara, 35, born on December 20th, 1983 and passed away on March 25th, 2019. We will remember her forever.
all my family and friends...Very sad news ...While on vacation in the Bahamas with family our daughter Christine had a freak accident and died. She loved the blue water of the Bahamas and always wanted to be warm..she loved the sun in her face and her hair, walking in the sand, looking for creatures from the sea, trying to find a stray animal that needed to be fed and searching out a place to ride a horse on the beach and finishing the day off by sitting under a palm tree.
Had a great day with her mom before she died, discussing her future, new jobs on the horizon, playing with Joshua and Audrianna on the beach and talking about her new nephew that her sister Elizabeth and Kyle are expecting in June...she could not wait to see him and of course the star of the show her niece Sage. Talking about her antics, and sayings and how she was the personification of her sister Libby when she was little.
Nancy said to me this was the best day she ever had with Christine, the conversations that only a Mom and daughter can have.
We will surely miss her, a void that can never be filled. Always will be thinking of her and the many lives she touched with her infectious smile and love of life. Please think of her at times and if you do believe in a higher power, a prayer would be great as well. We believe that she was called by God because Grandma Maggie, Grandpa Phil, and Mugga (Nancy's Mom) were getting bored and needed someone to liven up the place. My son Brian and his wife Kristine were with us as well and helped us through this, it would have been very tough if we were here alone when this happened.
We love you Christine Catarina and you will be in hearts every day and will never forget you and hope to be with you and the family someday.

Dear Jim and Nancy. I just learned of Christine’s passing. I remember teaching this spunky girl in my freshman
Bio class. I am so sorry to hear of her accident. I will say a prayer today for her with my boys. I’m glad I had the chance to be her teacher in that fun, small group of kids.

For those who could not make the service for Christine: A passage from Dad
She made me laugh many more times than she made mad. She showed me how beautiful the animal and the human bond can be. I was proud of her accomplishments, her sensitivity towards those in need, her independent spirit and her dreams. I will miss her and think of her each day Dad
