When I first became engaged to Jim Harrington, Charlotte's brother-in-law, I was returning from graduate work at the University of Texas and had no friends in Massachusetts.  One day, on behalf of Skip and the boys, always so loving towards me, Charlotte appeared with many gifts for an impromptu Wedding Shower. She was always so kind and loving as a sister-in-law and as a strong woman.
