It’s hard to believe that this amazing man is gone. He has influenced countless lives and careers with his seemingly endless supply of knowledge and compassion. He was never to busy to help. He was never to busy to teach. He was one of the “great ones” and will be sorely missed.

Rest in peace, dear Dr. Coggins. My primary care physician through college, my 20s and till just four years ago. The best, most compassionate, caring doctor I ever had. He would call me, visited me in the hospital, would email me back lightning fast, would make me smile, helped me through some of my darkest days, and most importantly, made me feel safe. I will miss you terribly.
