Aunt Carolina was my favorite aunt. I will always cherish memories of summers and holidays in Antioch with the Zamora family. My aunt exposed  meto the Democratic party and the importance of having a voice in politics. She taught me the importance of an education and being an independent Hispanic female. She was humorous, kind, and an amazing woman. She will be sadly missed. Rest in peace.
