Carl was a tennis buddy of mine for many decades, as  both a singles opponent and doubles partner. We also watched our sons compete at Bay State Conference track meets at the Reggie Lewis Center. He was a straight shooter and honest man to talk to. I will miss him- rest in peace, Carl!

Carl was one of my favorite people to play doubles with and against.  He was a great sportsman who was always even keeled.  He was a delightful conversationalist with a wide breadth of knowledge.  I will miss his secret sauce spin serve and heart- thumping poaches at net. RIP Carl.
