While I personally never meet Carl, but feel I had, I view him as a close friend if not a distant relative.
As far as I know we were the only two Carl Fickling's in the entire world. I hope to meet him in the life hereafter, I will be looking for him as my name is called out by Jesus our Lord. I was born in Hot Springs, Ark several years before him in 1949. That makes me a baby boomer.
