We worked together in a very stressful industry where we are suffocated by bureaucrats and cranksters.  Bryan charmed them all and brought cheer to those of us who had the pleasure to work with him.  Everyone's energy levels went up when he entered the room.  I miss him.

I echo Dave's comments above although I knew Brian more from college days. We were fraternity brothers. We had coffee at Peets a few years ago and I just enjoyed talking with him about ... Anything. Phi Alpha  , brother wherever you are.
