This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Bonnie Correia, 65, born on July 30th, 1952 and passed away on August 12th, 2017. Her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, took her spirit into His Care into Eternal Life. Although the death of her body ended her physical marriage to her spouse, Joe, they remain united in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit and with all those who believe and are members of the Body of Christ.
I’ve known Bonnie since my days at Cal State as a student. She and Joe are always people I look up to – I’m always so encouraged by their faith and care and I always leave their presence with a smile and a happy heart. She’s still a leader in that she has now gone before us to show us how one runs their race strong through the end, joining that ‘great cloud of witnesses’… Joe, too, in that he’s now showing us how a great man of God mourns for his dear wife; grieving, but leaning on God’s strength and with His eternal hope. Bonnie and Joe, you both are a great blessing to me- so privileged to know you!

I love you, Bonnie. In the Grief class Joe & I are taking we are told that our love doesn't die when the person does. I miss you so and have a stabbing pain in my chest where my heart must be. Tonight looking up at the clouds and sensing your presence I once again prayed for help with my grief. As Thanksgiving approaches I am so thankful to have had you in my life-just wish you still were.
