Thank you, Betty Ann, for the fun and caring that shaped me in my early years. The memories I have with you and Jeff, riding on top of a Land Rover in Kenya, are some of the most treasured. No flowers, as requested, but Heifer will receive a donation in your name. I know you and Jeff are together again, having fun and doing amazing things.
I was hoping to visit Betty Ann and am so sad to find out that she has passed. She was an inspiration to me and was responsible for my trajectory, suggesting that I apply to Stanford, sparking my interest in journalism, following her into law school. I just want her family to know what a wonderful teacher she was. I take comfort in knowing she's with Jeff. I'll always remember her laugh
Betty Ann was a true friend and kindred soul. She was my anchor and steadfast friend through thick and thin. We shared so much that, when choosing someone to officiate our wedding, we could think of no one better to grace us with courage, humor and love. We miss you terribly Betty Ann and will always have you in our hearts.
