My name is Wendy Schiavo-Schubmehl, There was a time my father (Joseph Schiavo)  and Bert were close friends.  I remember seeing Bert on many occasions and always a fun time.  I'm thinking about him as I look at a dish he sent me for my birthday and a check for $7.42 which should have been sent for my wedding. I still have the note he sent me and the cashed check.  Great memories!
