Ben was a quiet yet brilliant engineer who was instrumental in the development of an IV infusion pump that dramatically improves the way medications are delivered to patients. We're all going to miss Ben, his laid back style and his passion for the outdoors.
George Gray, Chief Technology Officer, Ivenix inc.
It is with a heavy heart I send my condolences to Ben’s loved ones. Though I did not know Ben, as member of the climbing community myself, I and the community are deeply saddened by his tragic passing. His passion for climbing and dedication to the community is an inspiration. Thank you for everything Ben. I appreciate all you have done and will hold you in my heart on and off the rock.
Ben was such an integral part of the Ivenix work family and we miss him so much. His quiet charm, brilliant contributions, and love of climbing and the outdoors were an inspiration. I have fond memories of chats with Ben about his adventures, his creative way of scooting around the office when recovering from an ankle injury, and his incredible appetite. Miss you, Ben.
He always sat in the last row in the classroom. He never took the note during the lecture. But His test score is always the highest in my classes. He is polite and really smart. He dropped a mug with Stanford logo as a gift after he went to Stanford for his master degree. I really miss you, Ben. Prof. Jiancheng liu
The big guy! Man did we have some great times traveling and climbing together. From the moment we met in Thailand to the many trips afterwards, we had a great time. You were always hungry and you loved your cheese. Your passing really messed me up and it made me stop climbing. You taught me so much and you were the smartest guy I knew. I hope you know how dearly missed you are. Much love
