Bootsie was a wonderful person, strong and resilient throughout her life. She was intelligent, perceptive, and very aware of all of the rapid changes in the world. She was a lifelong dear friend to my mother, Christine Baduvakis Bernis. She led by example and we will attempt to carry her spirit with us as she would have wished.
