I'm so sad to learn of Mrs. Hopper's passing. I grew up with Michael and Brian in Tuskegee, and still have a small wallet photo of Michael, but we lost touch so long ago. I am sad that the Hopper's were in the Bay Area, where I now live as well - I'm sad that I wasn't able to see her. Perhaps my mom could meet the rest of the family sometime. In Loving Memory of Barbara Hopper
Six years ago today, we lost a beautiful soul, but we did not lose the love she gave so freely.
Barbara had a nurturing spirit that wrapped around everyone she met—she cared deeply, loved generously, and made people feel safe just by being herself. That kind of love doesn’t fade… it stays, it carries, it comforts.
I miss you dearly, Barbara.
Forever in my heart, always in my thoughts. ??
