For 30+ years, Tony and I had an annual hour-long phone conversation to celebrate one another's birthday. Topics ranged from the Red Sox to 60s jazz to parts for the Morris to Immanuel Kant's categorical imperative. Tony was equally conversant and interested in each.  I will miss those talks; he was a unique and gentle soul. Rest in peace, Tony. Your friend, Tony Dutra.
