Mrs. Battle was one of my most memorable teachers from Central High School in the early 1990's. She was tough, no doubt, but she cared and wanted all of us to be the best student we could be. Sending my deepest sympathy and love to her family.
This lady was truly a class act!! She kept us in line and was tough on us. However we knew she loved us and only wanted to see us excel in life and she was trying to give us the tools we needed to do so. She'll always be fondly remembered! The Angels in heaven better use correct grammar or they are in for an awakening, because Ms Battle is on the scene!! Rest in paradise Classy Lady!
