I will always remember the wamth that Annette showed me when I was an ensign and Bob was XO aboard USS Lowry in Norfolk in 1968.  A few years later she and Bob were even more welcoming when I was back in Virginia Beach with my wife Joan.  We both think she was one of the most classy and gracious ladies we have ever known.  (As an aside, we unknowingly grew up about 10 miles apart in NJ.)
