Our condolences to Linda and Heidi. It's been years since I have seen Louise, but we had a lot of fun memories as kids growing up. Bernie and I are sorry for your loss. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Sincerely, Kate & Bernie Bernier
I'm deeply saddened by Louise's sudden passing. She and I have shared a very special and unique friendship for more than 45 years. When I was nineteen years old, I acquired her beautiful 1966 Cutlass convertible after she had traded it in on a new '73 Oldsmobile. I contacted her for details about her car and we've been friends ever since. Each year without fail we exchanged Christmas cards - last year hers was the only card I sent! Two years ago when the car was going to turn fifty-years-old, my partner, Jay and I drove down to Monterey and took Louise out to lunch at the golf course to celebrate the occasion. We had a wonderful time together and we so enjoyed watching Louise's reaction when she saw her old friend after so many years. She was a dear, sweet lady and I'm sure that after the sadness diminishes I will again smile when I think of her.
I was very sad to get the call about cousin Louise. She was close with my mother Marjorie and I continued that friendship after my mother passed. I will miss her experienced advice and no-nonsense opinions and the little presents she sent in the mail. Thank you Michael for sharing the picture. I saw similar framed ones that she was clearly very fond of. My condolences to all who knew her
