Anna May and Nancy were pretty much my best friends about 45 years ago.  I remember their move to their first apartment and their first house. I was so happy for her when she found John.  I remember when she had her first baby.
Sadly we lost touch over the years but I thought of her often.
To John and her family, I’m so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you.  Anna May was a creative, generous, loving person with a smile that would light up a room.  The world has lost a beautiful person both inside and out.

Anna May and I have been friends since 8th grade. We shared the same last name but weren't related by kinship but rather by friendship. I loved her like a sister. We shared many fun times I our youth and I made sure to visit her every time I made a trip to Virginia. Will miss her greatly. Thoughts and prayers for John and family.

Anna, was always the nicest person. Friends to everyone and everyone's friends. The world would be a much better place if more lived their lives as she did. My thoughts go out to her family and friends because they have lost a very special lady.
