I was very sad to hear of my cousin, Ann's passing. When I moved to Santa Cruz 24 years ago Ann quickly acquainted me with the "real" Santa Cruz (beyond the Boardwalk). We spent many evenings together pondering life's beauty and it's challenges, usually over a glass of good wine. She never drank the cheap stuff--a valuable lesson she passed on to me. I will miss her.
This is a beautiful tribute to a person I only knew a short time. The time that I did know her and spend with her was memorable and fun.
Kelly, you are an amazing young woman and Ann loved you so much. You were all she could talk about and she was so proud of you. I'm very sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry to hear this. Ann was smart, funny, and a caring and amazing mother to Kelly. She welcomed me into their beautiful home when Kelly and I worked on our science fair project together in middle school and many other times, once taking us trick-or-treating with friends on Halloween. I am so sorry, Kelly, and to Ann's family and friends, for your loss. My thoughts are with you.
We are devastated with the news of Ann's passing. Our hearts ache for Kelly. Ann was witty, smart, and caring; qualities anyone would be drawn to in a friend. She had a wonderful laugh, which drew you into her orbit of joy. And Kelly brought her joy! Unbridled joy! Kelly, you are in our thoughts and warm embrace
Love, Clare & Margaret
