It is impossible to capture all that Mom meant to me, how much I loved her and will miss her. I know that I will be reminded of her often, including when I make certain recipes, such as deviled eggs and meringue cookies. When I took down the Christmas tree yesterday many ornaments brought back a flood of beautiful memories. Mom will live in my heart forever. Rest in peace with Dad. XOXO
Amanda always had a smile on her face. She was also very popular with her sorority sisters and also the boys. She had lots of dates. A favorite boy of my sister, Ann, and me was George. One night Ann & I were entertaining a new date in the iiving room while he was waiting for Amanda to descend the stairs. Just as Amanda was coming down the stairs we chimed "we like George"
