Sandy was brusquely warm. A gourmand with a fondness for dim sum. Precise about time - which is fitting given his passion for watches. He loved many things - people, Boston, the Boston Symphony, and most of all his son.  Sandy was unique. But I certainly never knew he was a fencer. I will miss him. My condolences to his family and other friends. We are a disparate and large tribe.
