I always remembered Alan after all these years when we both served on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Sweetbrier as Seaman. The photo below of Alan is on a day when we were building survival shelters near Valdez Alaska. Alan will always be remembered on my Thanksgiving days. May his soul rest in peace, and have a sparkling place within the Golden Essence that oozes fourth from Nature.
