I was saddened to learn of Al's passing when I read the paper online this morning.  i remember many years of wonderful times on Rocky Lake with the Bramstedt family as kids. I remember Susan teaching us to drive my grandmother's Simca around the lake roads. Al and Rosa were wonderful parents to all of us kids over those many summers.

Al was a big part of my early career in broadcasting and video production. I have many fond memories of my time at KTUU and of Al and his stories!  My best to Sue and family.

Words cannot describe the sadness I have felt since Al’s passing last August. The adventures we shared throughout our life have provided lasting memories, from our wood cutting business to working together at the station to restoring his antique car collection to endless days at Rocky Lake waterskiing and riding our snowmachines. Moments remembered thru our last good-bye in the hospital.
